Pastor Doug and his wife Jackie moved to Tucson to help plant Pathway of Hope in July, 2005.  Doug and Jackie have two children, Abby and Isaac.  Although his official title is Pastor of Technology and Care, he is also known as "Pastor of Miscellaneous".  In addition to his responsibilities at the church, Doug also works at Raytheon Missle Systems as a Systems Administrator.

He previously served as the associate pastor at New Hope Christian Fellowship in Hayward, CA, from 2002-2005. He holds a B.A. from Biola University in Computer Science with a minor in Biblical Studies.  He is currently working towards his Masters degree in Ministry Leadership.

Q & A

Q: That's a long title (Pastor of Technology and Care). What exactly do you do here?
A: My main areas of responsibility are Tech Ministries, Connection Groups, and Levite Ministries (setup and teardown of the church on Sundays).  Technology, Care for people, and Care for the church facility.  Get it?  Also, I do a lot of other odds and ends around the church.

Q: What do you do in your spare time?

A: Spare time?!?  I'm working on a Master's degree!  But really, I love spending time with my family, fantasy sports, video games, and playing softball.
